Direxio Privacy Policy

Direxio is an end-to-end encrypted messaging app provided by an individual developer. The app lets users connect to Agent services they own or trust, so they can communicate with greater flexibility and control over their data.

We care about privacy and design Direxio around data minimization. We do not actively read private chat content, upload user contacts, collect precise location, or use third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash tracking, or user profiling.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only a small amount of non-content information needed to operate and maintain the app.

Account and identifier information:Direxio does not require users to provide a phone number, email address, or username. We do not collect, store, or associate users with phone numbers, email addresses, legal names, or other traditional account identifiers.

Device and app information:We may collect limited device and app information, such as device type, operating system version, app version, and basic device environment information. This information is used only to maintain basic service availability, troubleshoot compatibility issues, and improve the app experience.

Network and regional information:We do not actively collect, store, or identify a user's specific IP address. To understand the app's approximate usage across regions, we may use non-precise information provided by systems, networks, or infrastructure services to estimate a broad country or region. We do not collect GPS location, real-time location, or background location.

Push notification information:To send message notifications or service reminders, Direxio may collect a device push token and use Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to deliver notifications. The push token is used only for notifications. It is not used for advertising, analytics, cross-app tracking, or user profiling. We do not use third-party advertising push SDKs to send message notifications.

Report information:When a user actively reports another user or message, we may collect the report reason submitted by the user. Depending on the reporting flow, the user may also choose to submit limited information needed to process the report, such as the reported user's identifier, a reference to the reported message, a timestamp, or other details the user chooses to provide.

We do not actively access private chat content. Only information that a user actively submits during a report may be used for safety review and abuse handling.

1.1 Information We Do Not Collect

  • Phone numbers, email addresses, legal names, or traditional account profile data
  • Phone contacts or address book data
  • Photo albums or photo library data
  • Camera data
  • Microphone recordings
  • GPS precise location, real-time location, or background location
  • Private chat message content
  • Advertising identifiers for advertising purposes
  • Payment or financial information, unless future features add it and explain it separately
  • Third-party SDK data for advertising, analytics, crash tracking, or user profiling

1.2 End-to-End Encryption

Private Direxio messages use end-to-end encryption. This means we do not actively read, listen to, or analyze private message content. Message content is not used for analytics, advertising, or user profiling.

If a user submits a report, only the information the user actively submits in that reporting process may be used for safety review and abuse handling.

2. How We Use Information

  • Maintain and improve the basic operation of the app
  • Send message notifications or service reminders
  • Estimate broad regional usage
  • Prevent spam, fraud, harassment, abuse, or illegal activity
  • Review and process user reports
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell users' personal information, and we do not use user information for targeted advertising, precision marketing, or profiling.

3. Third-Party Services and Infrastructure

Direxio currently does not use third-party advertising, analytics, crash tracking, or user profiling SDKs. We do not use Firebase, Sentry, Amplitude, OneSignal, or similar services for advertising analytics or user profiling.

Apple Push Notification service (APNs) is used only as system push infrastructure to deliver message notifications or service reminders. APNs is not used for advertising analytics, cross-app tracking, or user profiling.

If we use DNS, CDN, cloud hosting, security protection, or other infrastructure services in the future, their use will be limited to network access, security protection, service operation, and notification delivery where necessary. They will not be used for advertising analytics or user profiling.

We may disclose limited information only where necessary to comply with applicable law, protect users and the public, investigate spam, fraud, harassment, abuse, security incidents, or illegal activity.

4. Data Retention and User Rights

We retain limited device information, push tokens, regional statistics, and report information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Push tokens are used only while the notification feature requires them. When a user disables notifications, uninstalls the app, the device token becomes invalid, or we no longer need to send notifications, the relevant token will stop being used and will be deleted or invalidated within a reasonable period.

Report information may be retained for the time needed to process reports, enforce the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Children's Privacy, International Use, and Contact

Direxio is not intended for children under 13, or for users below the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Direxio is provided only for users outside mainland China. The app is not offered for download, registration, or use in mainland China.

If users access the app from other countries or regions, relevant information may be processed according to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
